I wanted to start the New Year out by sharing some of my observations.
Now while I admire the folks that are occupying our state capitals for their efforts, it really seems their efforts are futile.
The guys on Wallstreet are looking down from their ivory towers and laughing in our faces… Literally.

Here’s a rough idea and a few staggering numbers that I believe could show them that We the People truly have the power to hit them where it hurts.
Their wallets.

Let’s use Texas for an example, shall we?
There are approx. 26 million people living in the state. If we divide that number by lets say 4,(average family), that gives an estimate of 6.5 million homes.
Now, the average electric bill in the state is $93/mo. Multiply 6.5 mil by $93 and the total is $604.5  that is paid in any given month and divide that by 30 to get a daily payment estimate of $20.15 mil. That’s alot of cash.

If we further expand on this, keeping the numbers the same for all fifty states the daily payment is
$1,007,500,000. Yes a billion.

My point? Glad you asked.
Wouldn’t it be a real kick in the ass to all those crooks in their ivory towers if we all just shut our circuit breakers off for 24 hours? I think so.
They’d be scrambling.

Now I know it is highly improbable to organize citizens on such a large scale, but it  NOT IMPOSSIBLE.

We do have the power to be heard ladies and gentlemen of the occupation front…. Right from home….. By candlelight…. Like our Forefathers.

Happy New Year and Be Well

I always thought it was humorous that Occupy Boston folks would rail against the system and then send their messages with iPhones and Blackberrys while wearing their North Face jackets and sipping from Starbucks cups.
